IHP is leading a group of regional experts to develop a regional course on health equity and policy implications, to be offered as a flagship course of the Asia Network for Capacity Building in Health Systems Strengthening. The course is based on earlier courses developed by World Bank Institute in Europe, and is targeting mid and senior level policy-makers and managers from government, academic and donor agencies, who are interested in understanding better the technical and policy issues involved in improving equity in health systems. Plans are to offer the first course in the Philippines in late 2010. |
