|
Project ID: HA-012 |
Status: Completed |
Following on from the pilot project in 2005, WHO NHA Unit commissioned IHP, acting on behalf of APNHAN, to engage in a series of technical consultations with regional HA experts in Asia to identify relevant estimates of national health expenditure in participating countries. These estimates were used by WHO staff as inputs into their preparation of estimates for the World Health Statistics 2007. In this second project, a modified version of the OECD-WHO-Eurostat Joint SHA questionnaire was used to compile information for relevant countries. Countries targeted in this project consisted of Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Mongolia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Viet Nam, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Tonga. |
