This core research programe of IHP looks at policy issues related to extending and strengthening pensions provision and old-age income security in Sri Lanka. Where the opportunity arises this is done in collaboration with other partners. Key areas of interest include forecasting of fiancial costs of existing programmes, modeling of pension reforms, and impact of pensions programmes on elderly poverty. |
