Development of performance indicators to monitor health services in districts |
|
Project ID: HV-001 |
Status: Completed |
As a project commissioned for the 2007 Annual Health Forum, IHP experts developed performance indicators to help MOH to track district level health performance. The project involved development of a conceptual framework for tracking health system performance, based on best practice in OECD countries. Indicators were then developed, based on utilizing existing health information systems, and sample statistics compiled for sharing with stake-holders. The outcomes of this project are being used by MOH to improve and expand its health information system, and to support decentralized health service delivery. |
