Dr Sudusinghe obtained MBBS degree from the Faculty of Medicine Ragama, University of Kelaniya in 2005, and MSc in Medical Administration from the PGIM Colombo in 2014. He joined the MD Medical Administration course offered by the PGIM in 2015 and underwent training at IHP in July 2016.
Dr Sudusinghe completed his internship at District General Hospital Matara (2006-07). Thereafter he worked as Medical Officer, Divisional Hospital Kataragama (2007-2010), Medical Officer of Health Hambantota cum Actg. Port Health Officer Hambantota Sea Port (2010-12) and Medical Officer Accident and Emergency Unit District General Hospital Matara (2012-13), before joining the PGIM training course in Medical Administration. After completing MSc, he worked as Director, District General Hospital Matara from 2014 to 15. After completing a spell as Regional Director of Health Services Hambantota in 2015, he joined PGIM for MD course in Medical Administration. After completing MD part 1 in Medical Administration he served as the Medical Superintendent Base Hospital Walasmulla before joining IHP for one month registrar attachment. |
