Chandana Gajanayake

Dr. Gajanayake obtained BDS degree from the University of Peradeniya in 1997, MSc in Medical Administration from the PGIM Colombo in 2005 and joined MD Medical Administration course in September 2013. He was attached to the IHP as a registrar in October 2014.
He worked as a Dental Surgeon in Ampara (2000-2001) and Galle (2001-2003). After completing the MSc Medical Administration he was appointed as Medical Officer in charge of the Quality Secretariat at Castle Street Hospital for Women (2005-2007) and then as the Deputy Director Medical Supplies Division (2007-2010). He also worked as the Medical Superintendent Balapitiya (2010-2013) and the Director, Institute of Oral Health Maharagama (2013). |

He obtained an Advanced Certificate in Executive Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), Executive Diploma of Marketing from University of Colombo and completed a Masters degree in Public Management from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo.
