Dr W M C M Wijesinghe obtained MBBS degree from the University of Peradeniya in 1998 and MSc in Medical Administration from the PGIM Colombo in 2010 , MPill in Disaster Management from the PGIS Peradeniya in 2009. He joined the MD Medical Administration course in September 2013, and completed an one-month appointment at IHP in September 2014.
He had been the Medical Officer of Health Aranayake (1999- 2002), the Regional Officer - Anti Malaria Campaign Kegalle district (2004-2005) and the Regional Epidemiologist Kandy (2006-2010). After completing the MSc in Medical Administration he worked as the Medial Superintendent Base Hospital Mawanella and as the Director Sirimavo Bandaranayake Specialized Children Hospital Peradeniya (2011-2014). |
