Puwanesh is IT/Web Specialist at IHP. He joined in 2006 and holds a BA (Hons) Business and Management from the New Castle Business School, Northumbria University and a Master of Project Management (MPM) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He has Chartered IT Professional (CITP), BCS Diploma from the British Computer Society and Advance Diploma in Computer Programming and is an Associate of the Cisco Certified Network Associate � (CCNA), and he obtained Professional Membership the British Computer Society � (MBCS). He has previously worked at TEC (Sri Lanka) Computer Institute, as a Lecturer, the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka in IDA/World Bank project as a Data Analyst and Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka as an IT Executive.
At IHP he manages the IT unit and also handles the design, architecture and maintenance of organization web site and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures and tools. He also plans and develops IT systems for acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data. His responsibilities include developing, configuring, installing the network system and providing continuous testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance for the data transmission. Development and implementation of hardware and software systems and administrate individual in-house projects are also undertaken by him. |
